Solo Events
Violin Improv for Hotels, Wineries, Private Events & Weddings
Sharla plays Violin Improv to modern pop/radio tunes either along with the song or with backing tracks playing the melody. Different themed playlists can be curated to fit the style of the event.
**Fridays and Saturdays are primarily saved for the Taylor Swift Tribute band- Reputation. If a show is not booked with Reputation within a 30day window other events may be booked.
*Private Events generally have up to 3 hours of performance time. This can be split up in different parts. (Ex. Wedding 1 hour ceremony + 2 hour cocktail/dinner).
Performance:
Tracks, violin and a wireless mic are run through an amp with built in effects, wireless mic, and battery power for powerless gigs. (Outside cordless gigs recommend 2hrs as weather changes may disrupt battery power length beyond 2hrs.) The amp’s output has a quarter out which then goes to speakers or a mixer.
Sharla has the option to walk around a venue within range of her wireless transmitter. Walls/distance/outside transmitters may interfere. There will be a test walk prior to see range.
There are 5 violin options to choose from, 2 acoustic and 3 electric. If not specified, the default electric violin is a light weight translucent violin outline with 6 color options, 5 strings, and a shoulder strap for more mobility. LED bow coming soon!
Playlists are made custom on Spotify with crossfade for a continuous flow from song to song. Requests are welcome but will include a brief pause when crossing from YouTube to Spotify, enough time for a quick shout out.

Factors that impact prices:
1. Custom playlist require more time to create. To save, choose a premade playlist, provide your own playlist, or provide a DJ (Check out her TheDJvsViolin project- contact soulfulsystems.com).
2. Provide your own sound systems/speakers (2 EV Speakers on stands & 8 Wash Lights available).
3. Choose one of her dresses/costumes or provide a themed outfit (Size: S-M Size 4).
4. For travel gigs: Purchase room, flight, and transportation.

Subbing in for original violinist on the Backwater Opera’s song “Tuna Melt”, duplicating the original by listening to YouTube recordings.
Special guest appearance set with “Panic Stricken”, a Widespread Panic band. This was the Orange Blossom Special part of the set at The Granada in Dallas.

Subbing in The Bodarks band learning violin and vocal parts.
